A Video Slideshow of a flight I went on in Haiti

Some of you have asked about my trip to Haiti. I have added a link from Samaritan Air about a flight I went on. If you get a chance please check out their blogspot. The video right below mine is of my brother James and a flight that he went on with them.

These are good people and they are sacrificially giving to assist those in Haiti.

James' Ministry in Haiti

Some people have asked about my brother and his work in Haiti. I am all about sharing with you what I know but he does a much better job. I have added a link to his family website to the right side of this blog. It is entitled "James Collins Family Website and Blog." The blog is embedded in the website. He usually updates it weekly. He has lots of pictures and even has some prayer requests as well. Please feel free to contact him or comment on his blog as it will encourage him to hear from others and know that they are praying for him and reading his blog.

Enjoy!!!

Headed to Selma Alabama

This weekend I will be going to Selma Alabama to do a Civil War Reenactment. Selma is one of my favorite events. It is likely due to the setting. Selma is a lovely city and the park is great for this event. It has full scale breastworks and the trees are covered with spanish moss. Then Saturday evening hosts a grand military ball that is held in the yard of the Sturdivant Hall, a civil war era southern mansion.

Maybe once we get our computer figured out, we will post pictures for you.

Facebook has nearly killed the Blogger in me.

It was not by choice, nor was it by utter neglect, but my blog has suffered majorly. I thought for sure that I would be able to keep up with all of life and Blogging. Then came the invitation to get involved with Facebook. That is like being able to see brief snapshots of whats going on in life.

Here's my quandary.

I thought that Facebook would be quicker and thus allow me more time for the "important" things in life. But now that I'm on Facebook, I don't know if that is the case.

If you do both, let me know what you think.

I am still here and I do still review some of your sites occasionally.
